Treasure Island Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip was originally designed as a pirate-themed resort geared towards families with children. It featured a skull-and-crossbones strip marquee, a large video arcade, and staged pirate battles nightly in Buccaneer Bay in front of the casino entrance on the Strip. The Buccaneer Bay show has been replaced with a new show, "The Sirens of TI", and the famous skull-and-crossbones sign at the Strip entrance was replaced by one reading simply "ti" that is also a large LCD video screen. The pictures below were taken in 2002, before Treasure Island moved away from its pirate theme.
